Updated Statement – July 14th, 2020

Dear Guests,

Firstly, I would like to extend a sincere thank you to all members of our team, and all of our returning customers for making our relaunch successful. It was a pleasure to see the return of our smiling guests as we welcomed everyone back to the property on June 19, 2020. Never could we have imagined that something would close our doors for two months, but we are very grateful for the positive responses we received for protocols we have put in place and the confidence we have instilled in our ability to adapt to this challenge.

Our focus as we resumed operations is to continue to provide a first-class experience to our guests and patrons while maintaining a high level of safety standards through the property. Operations look very different today with our onsite Clean Team to facilitate our sanitization practices between use of our slot machines, any high touch areas, and our waterpark facilities. All our restaurants and lounges have also been arranged to accommodate social distancing and health protocols. Our hotel and housekeeping teams have also made significant changes to exceed the requirements of AHS related to sanitation and public safety and specifically Covid-19.

We are hopeful that restrictions will continue to be lifted as we move closer to Phase 3 of the Alberta relaunch, however, our measures to protect our team and customers will remain in place. We are looking at creative ways to reinstate entertainment in responsible ways based on the changes that phase 3 will bring to Calgary. Safety remains our top priority as we cautiously move forward.

Sincerely,

Robin Featherstone

Manager of Operations

Updated Statement – June 12th, 2020

Dear Guests,

After many long weeks of isolation and quarantine, it looks like Alberta is finally starting to recover from this pandemic. We understand we are not in the clear yet so we remain cautious but feel positive of what the future will bring.

As part of Phase 2 of the Alberta Economic Relaunch plan, we have been approved to reopen our property and we will be opening our doors again on June 19, 2020 at 9:30am. This will include services within our hotel, casino, bars, and restaurants with exception of table games and poker.

We have adapted our promotions to support social distancing but will continue to offer our weekly Progressive Jackpot Friday through live stream where participants will receive a chance to spin to win for $5000 or more. We have also created a number of food and beverage promotions and an exciting Family Adventure Packages in our hotel to promote travel within Alberta and local support to Calgary.

We have fully implemented a comprehensive program through all aspects of our business to prevent the spread of Covid-19 through our property while resuming operations. It remains our top priority to ensure that our team and our customers remain safe as we move forward towards a new normal.

We look very forward to welcoming back our team and our customers on June 19, 2020.

Sincerely,

Robin Featherstone

Updated Statement – May 27th, 2020

Dear Guests,

We would like to extend our sincere wishes that you and your families are staying safe and healthy through this time. There is a lot of uncertainly around the pandemic but there is one thing we are certain about. We sure miss our customers, friends, and family!

We are currently in the process of planning and implementation our COVID-19 safety processes. Safety is our number one priority as we develop a cautious approach to resuming operations. We remain hopeful that we will be able to open our doors again in the month of July. We will be opening the Hotel first in the beginning of July and the Casino will follow based on timelines of the restrictions being lifted. At this time, we do not know exactly when that will be. We will update our website once we are able to determine a specific date. In the meantime, please continue to follow social distancing and public gathering recommendations to support the smooth relaunch of Alberta’s services and businesses.

While we are waiting, we have also relaunched our Summer Family Fun Adventure Packages with partnering attractions in the city. Please click here to view our packages and availability. This is our way to support responsible and affordable experiences for family’s through the summer.

Please continue to check our website for updates and we look very forward to welcoming our guests back once it is safe to do so. For a full list of our Covid-19 safety protocols please click here.
